Movie Trailer Review: Barcelona: A Love Untold

After a quite long thrill and anticipation, Kathniel fans have finally witnessed the much-awaited trailer of Barcelona: A Love Untold. Shot in the most fantastical locations in Spain's cosmopolitan capital, the Olivia Lamasan film moves around the story of Ely (Daniel Padilla) and Mia (Kathryn Bernardo) who found each other in Barcelona and will journey together to find answers to their life-long uncertainties such as confronting the past, proving their worth and self-forgiveness.

As compared to their previous blockbuster team-ups, the trailer of this latest movie showcases a lot of fresh surprises. Kath and DJ veers away from the usual teeny-bopper looks and offers more of their mature personalities. Kilig factor takes a new level - inspired with a beautiful theme song and promising number of hugot lines . Plus, the movie boasts the picture-perfect landmarks of Barcelona which really made the entire cinematography sweet and captivating.

So if I'm going to give a rating for this KathNiel-starrer, out of five stars, it deserves 4 (just for the trailer alone). I will give my final verdict after I watch the whole movie.

In addition, the preview alone feeds us these preliminary thoughts that the actual romantic-drama film itself can suffice or even exceed the expectations of the avid Filipino movie-goers around the world.

But the ultimate question is, "Will the first kissing scene of KathNiel finally happen in this movie?"

Find out as this movie is set to be released in cinemas worldwide on September 14, 2016.
